I stared at the screen. A critical bug in my code had crashed the client’s system during a live demo. I knew exactly where I went wrong. A small oversight. A rookie mistake. The manager walked up behind me and asked me to join him in the meeting room. His tone was calm, but I could feel the disappointment. We sat down in silence. He leaned back, arms crossed, and asked what had happened. I admitted it was my mistake and promised to fix it. He sighed, shaking his head slightly, and reminded me how much was at stake. "Galtiyaa hooti hai," he said, "make it hard to justify bigger opportunities." The words stung more than I expected. He stood up and told me to focus on fixing the issue, adding as he left, "Not everyone can stay at the bottom forever." I sat there for a long moment, replaying his words in my mind. Back at my desk, shame and determination churned inside me. I had messed up, but this wasn’t how it would end. what should I do now?
