Trending @Accenture; Bonus percentage doesn't match the amount I received

How does this bonus thing actually work? On the rewards portal, the percentage that is mentioned is about 5% but the amount mentioned above it is not the 5% of base pay.

Shouldn't the bonus percentage be applied on the base pay? I literally received half of the amount.

Variable pay for a reason?

This happens when you got the increment in a year.
They base pay for the Bonus will be calculated for FY (Sep to Aug), so if you got an increment in between your base pay for Bonus calculation will be like Total for Months on Old base pay + Total for months on New Base pay. Try calculating by this method
