Bloody suckers removed my quarterly performance bonus for not going office

Is it legitimate? I work 14 hours daily harder. To meet client commitments and uphold tcs values. Bloody company does not care our sentiments.

I remember. It was first company during covid which announced they will give life time wfh in new model. Hard core liars.

Luckily we dont have strict association type unity. Else we could teach them a lesson.

They will eat all your QVA if RTO is less than 60%. Where every other companies are OK with Hybrid model, TCS here is eating employees share due to RTO non compliance and show it as TCS profit. Seems TCS culture is rotting. This should definately go to social media channels.

It's 💯 right

Even 100% RTO they are giving 40% QVA.

While I understand your frustration and emotional discontent however most of the employees misused the WFH policy, most of them have the mentality of “I got the job done so why do you care what I do being at home or anywhere else”.

If you know the headcount in the organisation it is 600k or more, so imagine the % of troublemakers even if they’re 2/10, it’ll compound to a greater number. TCS announced 25% by 2025 and not 100% WFH forever.

While people like you who are diligent and would go the extra mile for their clients, we can’t deny that there are those who do exactly how it’s shown in the “funny” reels - eating during their login hours and code themselves out on break as they intend to either sleep or go out, people consuming alcohol and other intoxicating substances while being on production, data leakage and theft, employees have been caught doing all wrong stuff during meetings when accidentally the camera turns on, they even complain about network and power outage and wouldn’t even apply for a leave.

Being a project manager, I’m sure how the billing works and when employees take too much of advantage of this WFH policy, this was bound to happen. It’s only fair for people who would take the pain to go to work and get their QVA, it’s more about making these people feel special otherwise what’s the difference between an employee who abides by the RTO and the one who chooses WFH?

This is segregation at its best backed by monetary rewards.

You can continue to crib about it or just move on to the next company which fits your requirements.

Personally I used to travel 90 mins one way by train to the office and 45 mins back home via company cab, I moved to a nearby place on rent and saved time in travelling.

Like all managers say, don’t come with a problem, come with a solution xD

I hope things get better for you bro.

The problem is QVA, not WFH.

Can they not enforce a policy, in their wisest self that anyone who has more than 85% WFO should get 100% QVA?

If overall there are net profits Quarter on Quarter, I fail to understand why the units are lagging. If it's a question of 1 or 2 units not performing, I can still try and understand, but since the past 6 quarters I am getting between 25% to 50% QVA.

They take care of their profitability by giving reduced QVA!

The least that can be done is give the employees what you promised in the appraisal - which is also peanuts btw!

85% WFO = QVA Eligible QVA Payment - Different calculation

It’s all fucked up man. Slogging for them 14-15 hours a day and at the end we end up getting our salaries cut due to their ego and arrogance. The downfall of tcs is near. Anyway I put my papers today as soon as I saw my salary cut. 90 days I have to search for the job.

Things are never the same ever. When I joined it was good under the other ceo and after one year ceo changed and things went bad and now worse. Hopefully this will also change but whether we will be there or not.. Dats the question..

Bro because of this I already stopped going to office and also doing my work with less efficiency.
The time I save from not going to office or not doing work is getting invested in job switch. I would happily give my whole QVA of 10K and make a better ROI by switching job until next quarter
