Post generative AI Boom, now a dev can use prompt engineering and replace 3-4 devs work. That being said of the situation today, it might worsen with AI becoming more intelligent. A lot more can be trustfully delegated.
A short term way to save yourself is either go to some closed proprietary software which is still not exposed to GenAI or do some work that is not economical for GenAI application or work in AI/ML itself.

I'm guessing some of them were pending from previous year. Financial year end for USA happens in December if I'm not wrong, could have been planned around that for whatever purpose.
Didn't knew this. Makes sense. After financial review, they might have decided this. Election year is coming in USA and there is a lot of uncertainty in this elections. Normally markets have bull run before elections but this time seems different, atleast in USA
