Blind Resume Review?

Hi, I'd love to get realistic opinions and criticism on my resume. I'm a 2023 grad, unable to find a job (can't pass the first screening, so i believe it is a resume issue). Thanks in advance.

Remove the position of the responsibility section, the resume has a lot of content to be read. That is not really needed for sde jobs

This is more of a personal opinion at the moment, if others agree then only remove. But really to me it looks like a lot of content

it is I agree, I changed page size from a A4 to letter. But my only fear is a lot of big techs look for something outside acads, and there won't be any if I remove POR. I don't know if I make sense.

Also, "tier 2 college" is that required?

Ruthlessly delete things. Everybody knows a SWE with less than a year of experience has nothing much to offer. May sound harsh, but it is what it is. Unless you have a PhD or something

Only point #1 in achievements is actually an achievement. Remove the others

Positions of responsibility are not really required for entry level SWE roles

Remove the MLH block. Hardly provides any signal

I’d remove skills summary as well. When you write “ReactJS” it doesn’t indicate your competence with this tech stack. Your experience should indicate your competence with the tech stack.

Remove weasel words such as “leveraged”. Remove “received opportunity…”
