Hi Guys,

Just wanted some suggestion. One of my friend working in some X company has got an opportunity outside. But its a contract based role for around 6-8 months only. But they are providing enough pay. Since long time he is working in the same company. There is an option to work as a freelancer also in the new opportunity. But there is a risk of health and sleep, as the timings differ. 9 to 5/6 he goes to office daily and after 6 PM to 3AM he needs to work on the new one.

Now, he is in a dilemma whether to continue both the works or resign to the old one and join the new one as a full time. So he can maintain a work life balance.

What are the challenges that can be faced after the contract period ends and what more details he need to take confirmation from the new role.

Please suggest on this..

Thanks

Bro it might be considered as moonlighting and if the Wipro has found out about it. They will terminate from the company without any warning. The same thing happened with my team member.

Yeah… you are right. But instead of doing moonlighting he can resign and join that new opportunity. But the thing is its a contract one just for 6-8 months. But the pay is good for him. So thinking of this…

Don't join the company instead keep giving interviews .Night shift takes toll on your health .Keep trying and always ask for the feedback at the end interview
