BGV - Credit Check
In a higher MNC i got an offer for lead consultant data scientist position. They asked me to submit authorisation letter stating that they will check everything including credit check. What does the credit check means ? Will they check my cibil score ? As, i am facing some financial issue to pay the credit card amount from past 4 months bank has been moved me to NPA. Will it cause any issue for my BGV ?

CIBIL/credit score checks are mainly relevant for financial, banking, treasury, audit or signatory roles. For most tech, consulting or engineering roles, BGV focuses on identity, employment history and criminal records, not personal credit score.
