BGC at TCS
Got offer from TCS for SAP role. Have accepted it in the portal and now it’s been more than 2 months and the BGC is still showing as in progress. HR is telling me that he’ll update post examination from BGC team. Is it business usual? I’m growing anxious as I’ve already resigned from previous organisation and idle for 2 months. (TCS people, need your guidance here)

Your BGC will be cleared only after joining TCS after you join they will verify your identity with your current employer and pass the status to the recruitment HR and you will not be informed of the status. If you didn’t get any calls or mails from your recruiting HR for more than 30 days after joining, it means your BGC is clear. If you want an update, you can mail to HR and ask about your BGC clearance for your mental peace. But if you have all the documents and stuff you’ve given your application aligns with the proof of documents you have submitted, you need not to worry. They will take care of everything in the back end.
