
Beware! CT Assurance in EY GDS cutting job roles due to role redundancy.
I was part of CT-Assurance, which is part of EY GDS. During March, a few of my colleagues and I were asked to identify opportunities in EY GDS within a period of 4 months. EY don't call this exercise as a layoff, but calling it as eliminating the redundant job roles. One side EY is advertising that they are doubling their headcount and, on the other side, silently letting people go out of EY GDS. I would like to know if there are more colleagues affected? I would also like to caution the new joiners to keep a watch on this.

As far as I know, at least 1000+ impacted in India. And one more wave is expected after July.

Is people consulting also impacted?

I am part of Client Technology in EY GDS, I’ve heard that impacted people have been told like it’s because of Service Line Restructuring and your project performance doesn’t matter even if it’s good
