Discuss their tech skills, ambition, how much money/time can they commit, how much risk they can take, should be similarly experienced as you or more.

It's a relationship like marriage. Work for atleast 1 month and see where it goes.

Maybe we can connect.

It's not impossible to run a startup without CTO. Just find a good dependable dev agency. Progress would be slower but also cheaper.

I tried looking for CTO's but none of them are willing to work for equity only. Can't afford their salaries atm, so sticking with agency as long as possible.

This is helpful man, can you recommend best agencies out there?

Can't say much about best, they would also charge hefty amount for best work. My agency is above average and very reasonably priced, which works well enough for us.

If you are serious, apply to Antler or EF. They would filter the applicants' pool to let in only the most promising candidates

I'm sure you'll know someone who's technically strong according to you (maybe someone from work). Get their help in finding that technical co-founder.

Finding the right technical co-founder can truly make or break a startup. It’s not just about skills, but also shared vision and trust. I found this great resource that dives deep into practical strategies on how to find a technical co-founder: https://www.cleveroad.com/blog/how-to-find-a-technical-co-founder/. Definitely worth checking out if you’re on this journey! It’s important to be patient and focus on building a genuine connection rather than rushing the process.
