Best way to reach Europe from India

I am a software engineer working from India and I want to move abroad, particularly to European nations like Germany, Switzerland, UK, Denmark, etc.

What is the best way to achieve this target? Should I directly apply to the companies having offices there or, join a company in India that can migrate me to one of their offices abroad? Or, is there an even better way?
