Best way to Invest in Gold.
Which is the best instrument or approach to be considered when investing in Gold?
FYI, SGBs are discontinued by RBI

Thanks for notifying

You can still buy SGB from the secondary market.

Just a quick note here that SGBs had taken a hit after last year’s budget’s changes. So that policy change had demolished the safe perception about SGBs. You should read about it

yah exactly, I prefer Gold ETF honestly.

You can use the Gold monetization Scheme to save on locker charges. In the event of theft in Banks, you won't get the exact value of the gold kept in the locker. You will be slabbed at 3lacs. With this scheme, you derive 2-2.5 percent interest with 5 years lock-in. The bank will provide the certificate with the value of the gold mentioned.

The jewellery is melted to Gold bars, so one of main reason behind this being not popular

If there is a need for physical gold then all of these are not going to work.

The poll is aimed purely from an investment perspective
Why not purchase gold and store at home? If a bank were to be recapitalized, then all gold stored may not be returned back to the rightful owner after lots of litigation

Gold ETF is best option.

Save gold using 11 month plan ..all major shops will have this and at the end of the year but biscuits or buy jewelry without making charges..keep repeating or increase your contribution every year to accumulate..gold ETF also another option but don't expect sudden jump it takes time

Why are people not considering Digital Gold scheme ?

Uni Gold X Credit Card - earn Gold

I am using Gpay's gold locker . It uses MMTC
