Meghalaya

Second this

What are the places to visit in this beautiful state?

Shillong is a good option

Heard a lot about this place. How was your experience of going to this place?

I had a good experience, one thing is sightseeing gets difficult after 5pm since it gets dark earlier and sometimes the weather may be unpredictable, apart from that it’s a nice place to enjoy the nature

Tawang , Sela Pass - Arunachal Pradesh

Is it available throughout the year?

Best in march and April , just before monsoons . Now Sela Tunnel is opened , so ya open throughout the year

It depends on for how many days you are planning for?
Case 1- for 3 days: Guwahati, Shillong, Cherapunji, at max, Dawki: one of the cons in NE is connectivity as most of the popular places are not well interlinked, everytime you travel to new popular place, you have to go via Guwahati.
Case 2- for 7 days- try
Assam: Guwahati, Kamakhya, Majuli, Kaziranga 2N
Meghalaya- Shillong, Cherrapunji, Dawki, 2N
Arunachal- Zero, Tawang, Roing, Namsai, 3N
So on…
In every case, consider 30% more time than you will calculate based on Google map or info available on internet.

Guwahati is hot af What’s there to see in the city?

Very well elaborated. Thank you

Sikkim has many options and people are welcoming.
Meghalaya is good too with places like Shillong, Cherrapunji, Mawsynram and Dawki
Assam also have nice places to visit like Majuli (largest river island), Halflong (hill station with beautiful train journey) and Kaziranga (national park).

Sounds quite interesting 💫 Thank you for the suggestions
