Best Petrol for mileage?
Which of the petrol brand is providing significantly good performance in terms of smooth operation and good mileage?
I experienced that my bike provides noticable difference in performance when I refuel with shell V-power.
Previously, I was using BP but bike was noisy, the pickup was dampening and operation was not smooth, one fine day refueled with normal shell fuel and noise was gone! Later just for curiosity refueled with V-power and boom, mileage increased significantly along with smooth operation.
In my Slavia 1.0L, getting 8.5-14 kmpl in city with A/C, 16.5-20.5kmpl on highway with A/C
Tried Speeed/normal, all IOCL,HPCL,BPCL but it totally depends on the way you drive. While driving rash I get 8.5kmpl in city, but light foot sometimes even 14kmpl in city itself.
and Skoda/VW gives exact mileage unlike Maruti, Hyundai, Kia.
E20 Scam has ruined my mileage …
All of them get the same petrol filtered out from plant. It’s just the distribution and mixing of ethanol. Just go for IOCL and get some octane booster. Already Gaddha**ri has ruined everything from NH to ICE..
Currently? None with any consistency. I have tried shell, jio bp, HP, Indian oil, BP, nayara and haven't got any conclusive better experience on my Dominar. Sometimes I did feel a smoother ride using Jio but refilling from the same pump at different times gave me different results. Its a damn shame
Before the e20 scam started, I could reliably fill 95 octane at HP and get a consistently smoother ride. Now its hardly any different from normal. I did try xp100 once and while it definitely feels powerful I can't justify its price.
