Best laptop recommendation under 50k in 2026.

Hey guys, I wanted to buy laptop in march or april 2026. But not sure which laptop i should go for.

I'll be using python sw, vs code, ms sql, oracle , Microsoft Office , power bi. And some light gaming. Online lectures and entertainment purpose.

My budget is around 50k. Buying new laptop or refurbished is a confusion for me. What is your opinion?

I was thinking lenovo thinkbook 16. Is anyone using this laptop how is it??

And what other options i should look at please suggest.

My 1st laptop i got in my 1st yr clg. 4gb ram it is not working properly it is working very slow now. And ms version is older.

I want at least 12+gb ram.

Please suggest me some good laptop on which i can use above mentioned application smoothly.

If you have a desk setup and don't care about mobility then you can think about M4-Mac mini. It's the absolute beast for its price.

Don't go for refurbished, you can get a solid new laptop at this price. Just check croma, reliance digital etc... a lot of card and other offers.

@SurprisedSpleen Just get the motobook, it has multiple versions, I think there's one under 50K with a full metal body. It's 45K after discount for i5. For 55K you get the latest i7 processor.

Laptop cost went high years ago. I did some research 2 years ago to purchase one similar to this requirement. Under 50k is tight budget. You may have to compromise build quality. So i would say 55k to 70k. HP, Dell are good. Keep Acer, Asus least priority as build quality is not great

Just Go with Mac if you don't play games or graphics related stuff. The games you play under 50k laptop are not significant. Also, Microsoft is messing up the OS with background tasks like AI. Mac OS is in different league interms of performance. Buy Playstation separately or better graphics card for games.
