Best funds for greater than market returns?
Hey guys I have an investment horizon of >10 years and am willing to commit to a fund that offers more than 12-14% (nifty returns). I don't want a extreme amount of risk (think micro cap/ very risky small cap funds). I'm okay with ~18% returns over this horizon. Please give me some opinions, I'll read up on them too.

Why is it better than let's say an axis Bank flexi cap

Axis has lost its team and associated investment philosophy. I have a fund from axis, giving pathetic returns even during post covid bull run. I am an old school never sell equity investor.
PPFC has patience & wonderful art of picking stocks, plus they have some exposure to BigTechs, so low cost leverage.

Gold 🤔 ?

Something catastrophic would need to happen in the world for gold to grow 18% every year for 10 years. I'm not comfortable betting on a catastrophe :p

Just messing around. Nobody can bet on one thing for such a long timeline. Diversify enough to achieve this

18% ish returns over 10y are impractical for the kind of risk you are quoting. The aftermath of 10y with 15%+ returns is surely a big bubble burst.
If any fund style can give 15%+ over 2024-34 (even for microcaps) that would mean a very low entry base or very high inflationary period or a sudden regulatory change driving all assets towards Equities.
For managed funds, possibility is a very niche manager with smaller AUM who can take agile bets and be extremely lucky. But can't aim tmfor that possibility.
I cannot think of any other scenarios with Equities warranting that high returns.

Any potential candidates?

Bro buy niftybees You'll definitely perform better than average joe
