The best card is the one that has the best rewards for the spends you make . Amazon ICICI maybe the best card for Amazon spends but it's useless if you spend very little on Amazon. Also while it is LTF , you need to be a prime member to get the 5% cashback.
HDFC Millennia offers good rewards accross different merchants including Amazon.
If you only spend occasionally on Amazon and also spend a good amount on other partners merchants then it'll be a better card even though it has a 1k fee.HDFC also offers it as LTF for some customers.

a lot of credit card problem solving is spending so much of your RAM for max Rs 20k per year
most of us won't spent more than Rs 10 lacs in an year
a 2% cashback is decent, an extra 2 or 3 % is what you are trying to optimize for
if you are spending Rs 10 lac via credit card
you likely have a mind which shouldn't be thinking about point-maxing throughout the year
it'll make you buy unnecessary stuff
it'll fill your mind with this unnecessary task
focus on using your free RAM & creativity for increasing your earning game or having fun

What's the harm in that, even corporations optimise for their spends, for people It's more about the feeling accomplished for doing something, generally regular indians envy someone who bought something at discount hence the old school discussions of best negotiators among the community.
In the online shopping era, it's something about,
"oh you bought sony xm4 for inr 25k huh I got them only for inr 15k see I'm such a smartass compared to you"
So if one have the mental capacity to optimise cc spends let them have their guilty pleasure.
PS, I've also bought a LG 65inch nanocell tv for 25k inr, almost a full 100k cheaper than offline store prices, so whatever floats your boat.

How did you buy it for only 25k? 😮

People are really voting for Millenia? It’s HDFC’s entry level CC, what benefits does it even provide? 🤣

Go read about it?

It's mostly given out for free, and has simple points system.

SBI Cashback credit card for online spends 5% cashback and Axis bank Ace for offline spends 2% cashback

Has anyone actually got the card in last 6 months ??

I have both of these, and won't deny, this is the best combo out there.
None of the regalia's or the magnuses can match the benefit of getting instant cashback (in the next credit statement), that too in fiat & not in some useless points that you might use sometime in future.
With overall usage, (atleast in my case with online far exceeding offline spends), I am able to get upwards of 4% cashback on my monthly spends.

Stupid question but is HDFC Regalia better than Millennia?

Yes it is

Just add a 🍿 option for others

SBI Cashback CC for the win.

Credit card depends on personal usage. Something which works for me doesn’t mean it will work for you as well. Sightly more details on your usage and reward category choice will lead to better answers.

I have Millennia, Amazon and Fi CC
Millennia mainly for good EMI deals on big purchases + fuel surcharge
Amazon for most things coz Amazon UPI can be used everywhere
Fi CC ~20K on partner brands only, gets me a ₹500 Amazon voucher every month. Plus we have insane discounts on EMT and BMS and I can even convert coins to club vistara points. Source: I work there.
