Did the author do research on rate of such incidents and crimes among people from other professions in Bangalore, and among different professions in other cities?

Might be, such incidents are common part of human society among all professions everywhere in India.

But by just focusing on subset of data from tech workers and only in Bangalore, it is spinning a false narrative and giving fake explanations for it
