I am looking for a 1/2 BHK rental home in and around JP nagar, looking for decent metro connectivity. my reason for picking Jp Nagar is that it’s very near to pubs(a must for weekends) and theatres like Ranga Shankara, near to Vega City mall, 1952 pub etc. Decent eateries and away from the hyped crowd(BTM 2 stage), Good parks and jogging and mindfulness activities. What is the decent rent would be? no broker and housing website all are listed with old and crappy home and agents. Any help is appreciated. what are your thoughts on area choice.

If you're ready to pay a broker, you'll find a lot more good places. The best societies have hiked their rents, we finally decided to ditch premium societies and go for a society with around 120 flats and spend more on furnishing the house.

Rents are in the 35-40k range for premium 2bhk, 18-25k for good 2bhks. Independent buildings offer even at 14-20k range but they won't have car parking.
