Hello guys! Iam in INDD unit , iam on bench since August of 2023 it's been exactly 1 year . I tried but couldn't get into any internal opportunities now iam trying to move to different companies. How long do you think I can be in bench from now before getting terminated , is there any specific timeline or is it case basis. Any inputs or info you know regarding bench period to termination pls share , It will help me 🙏
In the same way i am also on bench for more than 1 year and now i am on PIP . so try to get into project or move out of infosys asap otherwise they will move you into PIP telling some reasons and they will assign you the goals to complete which are very difficult .
Rather than being concerned about sitting safely on bench, you should work on your skillset and leave the company asap. Bench is a slow poison buddy. How could you be on bench for 1 year and then thinking to move out, you should have thought this 5-6 months ago. But anyways, since you have realised now and planning to move out, then here's my suggestion - Don't ever think about job safety in bench, prepare well for interview and get out of this toxic bench culture asap
