Trending @Accenture; Bench tenure || Leads to leaving the organisation ?

I have been on the bench for almost one month ten days, I am at level 11, in today's call one of the leadership people is saying that being on the bench is risky these days and mentioned to find the project within the next three weeks. What will happen if we don't find the project within this period, will they ask me to leave the company.

I am doing my work in finding the projects but all are saying that there are no openings for your level and the demand is on hold as per client inputs these are things I am getting when I am trying to find the project on my own.My primary skills are SAP BODS, WORKDAY Recruitment and Onboarding.

Also I am checking the tenure of the people who are on the bench there are many people who have completed 18 weeks and more on the bench. Will there be any issue to me and my candidature. I am a bit tense here. Any suggestions please.

Why don't you change your primary skill to some trending tech.( Which you have in secondary skills) To get the project faster !!

I am trying that as well, but not working that effectively.

Primary skill change needs two level of approval and in bench, they dont allow for skill change. I have already spoken to bench lead. In the same scenario

Depends on the delivery unit actually if they have budget, else I know someone who was asked to leave after around 45 days on bench, if it happens ask for severance pay. They’ll give you minimum 2 or more months salary as severance.Sometimes the HR POC will try to short change you and would try to avoid giving you severance. Also keep all communications recorded on mail the lead may try to coax you into resignation but don’t budge stay still whatever time you can on bench and if you don’t get anything meaningful within Accenture wait for them to ask you to leave, then leave with severance.

Thank you so much for your valuable inputs. Will they provide a notice period if the bench tenure increases.

Relax. Nothing like that is going to happen. They’re doing this to scare you

Check for internal proj, else they'll move you to Central bench. Almost 90% PPL are on bench in my unit, and 10% are loaned out to another unit like me

I am finding the projects and reaching out to respective POCs but they all are saying that they don't have any open demand, but in the demand sheet I am receiving the status is showing as active, when cross questioned them, the same they are telling that the demand is on hold .

Check in other unit, these PPL will loan you out to that unit for brief time period

Find project fast or they will let you go. Seen this happen before.

Will there be any notice period in that case ?
