Why have they made the bench rules so unmanageable? Compulsory reporting office to specified days filling forms and atttending meeting switch on camera to give proof that you are in office. Also report only to base location and stay 9 hours. Meanwhile people in project report to any location and leave after 2 hours. No one willingly wants to stay on bench specially if there project ends and searchjng for another. The project allocation process does not work fast then what should employees do.
Did u plan to get full salary nd go to trips during bench. Office presence is the least we can do.
No .. i have issue with reporting to base loc during my project i moved to my city and reprted there. But now its not possible to report at base loc. I did follow all bench rules in 1st week of bench period only it wasnt base loc so i had to apply for leaves even after reporting to office....
Whats np in bench any idea?

It's just for sake of saying see mostly 70%+ are with off camera
It's not just CG, it's the same everywhere actually. But ya, if there's no project vaccancy then they shouldn't unnecessarily hire more folks just to keep them on bench
