Bench policy in TCS
What is the bench policy in TCS like 30/60/90 days, as I am getting release from a project and will look for a development project in Java.
But from the past 2 years I have been working in a support role in Java.
So I think it may take 2-3 months to find the suitable role and since I don't have prior experience in the bench hence asking for it.
How will RMG treat me if I am on the bench for 2-3 months????
Please let me know if anyone has the experience.

You will get projects very soon!

Is there any time for the bench? I mean they are forced to resign if I am on the bench for 2-3 months?????

Max 2 months..then automatically ur np will start.try to utilise leaves...but system will make you auto resign if ur unallocated for 45+ days!!!No mercy from TCS since US market is still in recovery mode

RMG will treat you harshly bcoz some people in RMG will show your actual record how many you are getting benched or sitting idle and it will create negative impact on recruiters that you are not credible enough to work in a organization like TCS and People in RMG will push you to get into that domain of project where you don't belong or you don't have knowledge about that domain.. Some recruiters of TCS companies love to rub salt on your wounds by saying that "we don't consider your overall experience how much you have been in this corporate world! They will simply ask you how many years of experience you have within TCS.. If it is less than their criteria then they will not select you doesn't matter how capable or credible you are! I have been in RMG for around 18 days.. I had seen this all bullshits! Hope this information would be helpful to you 😊
