Hi, long does an Associate Consultant typically remain on the bench? Do they ask us to resign if not getting allocated to the project? Even though mailed staffing partner for a transitioning role got no response. What steps can we take if we want to transition to a different field, given that the RMG team is currently only offering roles in development?
Associates can be on the bench for months. If you're not getting responses, keep pushing or consider external options. Transitioning fields internally is tough; persistence and networking are key.
Thank you for your response. I am getting interview calls shift time is not feasible for my health so not accepting it and also as I am not interested in development now couldn't clear a few interviews. So would that be a negative impression and they ask us to resign? Can you plz tell me exactly for how many months they can keep us on the bench?
Shift timing is not feasible due to my health issues and I stay very far away from the office.
