
Bench policy - HR discussion call to ask resign.
My friend got mail for HR Discussion 2 days back and RMG told us to put some sick leave for 2 days and we can see any opportunities to get into the project. Yesterday I asked my previous project manager if they were ok to take me back and the manager told me not to resign I will send confirmation mail if they want. But now RMG says that confirmation mail is not enough. I need to get an allocation update for 6 months EOD. Because RMGs prepare lists for people on the bench to terminate. Also RMG said he does not have my friend's name but I don't know if others have, in case of fail to get Allocation at EOD came tomorrow to me only and we can process the resignation. Whether we don't if we skip or get other reminder mail from HR leads to termination.
Anyone have idea what to do now.

Confirmation mail is enough... Or ur talk your manager and connect with RMG.If both of the talk it will be convinced for them

The manager sent the confirmation mail and started the onboarding process it will take 2 to 3 days to allocate but RMG said to make it in 24 hrs otherwise put resign

Prepare for the worst. Getting allocated within EOD is difficult but loop your manager, RMG & HR in the same mail and get update. There should be some concession in your case as project is ready to onboard you .
Btw how long were you on bench and YOE? And your skillset?

Bro I still don't understand one thing. Why you need to get allocated yourself by EOD. It's fucking rmg job right, to get people allocated to projects. They are not doing their job. Busy is doing data entry job. Can't we raise anything grevience or something on rmg ?
