Trending @Cognizant; Bench period frustrations

My total experience is 1.7 yrs. i have been in project for 7 months and then 5 months under a dummy project and from 7 months in officially pdp … is this it?? No work, no peace … have to attend all 5 days for 10 hours but no work nothing … applied projects but rejected without interviews … tired of waiting for projects … feels like career going to waste … can anyone let me know the status of the job market outside cognizant?
