If you are on bench for than 90 days looks like they are planning to call you for an assessment on an unrelated topic with 70 marks in house problem and 30 marks MCQ. Some stupid hr (who will lose his /her job) has sent out the enail to entire FSADM group Instead of only the bench folks. Most likely it’s an org wide plan and bench folks in other units will also start getting the same. So buckle up and start accepting what comes your way instead of being choosy. You can always quit later in planned way rather than this way. But it’s clear they want to bring utilization from 78% to 85% in one shot. And this is first time employees strength has de grown by 10%. So job stability in infy which was our selling point seems to also take a hit. Salary nahi dete but stability and campus main oxygen free dete the. Ab woh bhi nahi milega.

Yes. NI guys have already got the email. Now it’s ME turn who are on bench for too long. Being on bench for long means only 2 reasons your skill set is not in demand or your are having some hard constraints on project or location front. Both the company can’t afford in current market. So if revenue are not growing only way to maintain increase profits is remove bench.

From last few years slots open most ever quarter. But which role how many numbers all depends on company performance no one except JL7 have an idea. There is no set pattern all depends on budgets and unit performance.
