Trending @Accenture; Bench firing, need urgent advice
I am on bench for the last 2 months. I have not been getting much project calls. Yesterday I got an opportunity to join in a workday Integration project which is very very different from my primary skills and expertise. What should I do? If I join, can I switch later when market condition is better?
As of now to save the job accept the opportunity you’re getting. And workday integration is a nice profile, there is demand in market. There is workday data integration that will somewhat related to your profile if you’re a data engineer
Look for priority if you want to save job accept it and be upfront that you are more interested in other field
Upskill yourself to show your productivity, apply for internal job posts and look out for opportunities outside
Dont accept different skills.
