Being Mediocre sucks

I started working as software engineer almost a decade back.. Being from tier 3 city and tier 3 college had humble beginning with TCS.. could make it to Walmart as IN4(Senior software Engineer) in 8 years.. While I struggle to become staff engineer here , I see my friends who chose other field like Devops or product grew faster could join big tech , could rise to TPM .. Making 400k in seatle.. Field doesn’t matter, Be the best in your field
