Beginning of my startup journey in Bangalore

Throwback: Exactly two years ago, on January 4, 2023, I packed my bags and moved to Bangalore—a city I’d always dreamt of being part of, known as the beating heart of India’s tech ecosystem. Driven by my passion for startups, I took a leap of faith and joined a very early-stage startup without overthinking the details of the offer. 🚀

The setup? A 5BHK villa in Koramangala that doubled as a home-office hybrid. The ground floor was our “office,” where we worked tirelessly to build the product from scratch, while the upper floors served as living spaces for the team. It was a true “build fast, launch faster” environment with no leave policies or fixed working hours—just a small team, focused solely on creating something impactful.💻

While the experience was exhilarating, I quickly realized a hard truth: you can't crap where you eat. Living and working in the same space blurred personal and professional boundaries, leaving little room for balance. It taught me how crucial it is to create clear boundaries to sustain both personal growth and professional productivity.

Looking back, this chapter in my life shaped my understanding of startup culture, teamwork, and what it means to truly build something from the ground up. 💡 What I learned: 1️⃣ Passion and grit are crucial, but so is setting boundaries. 2️⃣ Sometimes, stepping out of your comfort zone teaches you lessons no book or course ever could.

" Passionate " Startup folks

A lot of folks working at startups seem to be "passionate " about their job. Some of them possibly, truly are. Some foolishly reverse engineer this passion because they're paid really well and they've been doing a good job and it's good ...

  2. Learn new tech
  3. Glofiying working at odd hours
