Been trying to switch for months now

Been here since the start. Salary has more than tripled these past 5 years. However, I would like a slightly more explosive burst of growth to my CTC.

I always used to be under the impression that my 90 days notice period is the problem. But now, after months of not receiving calls, I am super confused and a small doubt has crept up deep inside my head. What if my resume/work isn't as impressive as I thought it to be?

I am not confident in quitting without an offer since the team is really fun to work with and I get the opportunity to work on some cool stuff too.

Thoughts??

Okay, being brutally honest from personal exp and a feedback I got from a recruiter head hunter.

If your notice period is more than 30 days companies will not hire you unless you are exceptional. That means super freaking talented that you are goated in the domain. The latter is very rare.

So yeah that being said his recommendation was put in the paper and closer towards end of your notice period you end up getting offers. You will be surprised.

Companies want people to join now. Immediately. Its a fair ask as well. Alot of companies have stopped giving offer prior to NP submission because alot of candidates abused the system taking the offer and getting higher package in the current organisation they are working for. So organisations lost out on a alot of potential.

So if you really wanna jump take the risk and put down your paper. Or if you are happy with everything as it is then only do it when required. Otherwise become the GOAT in your domain so you get offers lined up.

Always remember if the time is bad and you are getting offers during NP or not that means you are having on demand talent. Other good times when organisations have money and only then you getting offers then trust me its time to upskill.

Bruh I am also 5 years exp. I tried one of the WITCH company walkin drive HR was talking like I am already having a high salary. The interview is for Java+ spring boot. They are asking questions from spring MVC. When I joined TCS,I directly started working on spring boot.So I cannot be able to answer the question. The final result is not shortlisted.

I think they are also seeing the current CTC.
