it makes me so furious that they are changing policy for PDP associates, now we need to show our face 5 days a week. My ask is who all are making these decisions ? or do they think that we are in a payroll so they can do whatever they want. why would one come to office wasting 3hrs daily in traffic? and with internet issues and firewall issues? they don't even have proper projects. I have been with cognizant for 5+ years from the beginning of my career but what i am seeing now is a complete shit show. even if you get a project it hardly remains for 6 months and then client decides to ramp down the project. to the senior management please do focus on bringing proper projects and work hard to keep them, in most of the cases you are loosing clients due to over-comments. rather than shouting GENAI everywhere do focus on burning issues.
They are taking advantage of the down market. Calling 5 days a week on PDP means, they expect whoever cannot come can switch.
They are pushing us to resign.
They know they can get away with this that's why they are doing it.
No need to give any suggestions to them.
I think even if they do not make it 5 days a week a lot of people would switch in few months as there are no projects 🤷🏻♀️.. but even they they will hire freshers in huge numbers.

This is the way to force employees to resign on their own, and no one will blame the company, good strategy, and the politics reached to the max. They are failing to keep going projects.
Well said, being on bench and coming to office all 10 hours a day is such a waste of time when seats are not available to book and even there will be network issues and no projects to apply 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
