Batch hiring

How can you tell when a company's doing a big hiring drive? My buddies just landed jobs at Salesforce, Intuit, Amazon, and Uber – turns out they were all hiring tons of people at once. I only found out after they got offers; a heads-up would've been nice! They said there were recent big hiring drives.

So, how do I find out about these things? Are there any groups or forums? I'm stumped. Help me out?

Few things -LinkedIn. You can sense bulk hiring there.
I'm not saying send requests to 1000s of people. No, I just have ~300. Your LinkedIn shouldn't be just random videos, egoistic people etc. And more about your interests, hiring, etc. (Send request to few good recruiters - not the one with 100k following) You will eventually get the feel.

-As you are a Software Developer. Leetcode Discuss. Specifically Interview Discuss section. You will be a bit late, but not much.

-[Important] Real life friends & peers. Share some information to them, gradually they will start sharing as well. Tell them that your friend is hired here and they are hiring in bulk, etc. Next time they will share what's going on in their friend circle.

For instance:

Amazon is reaching out to a lot of folks recently. Meesho is/was hiring in bulk. Zepto recently hired a lot of people. Flipkart recently did a bulk hiring. Zeta is hiring too.

A situation where all your friends already have best friends, and you're just the backup? That's my life, so yeah, I don't have many friends. 😅

Thanks for the tips tho. ☺️

Keep applying on jobs and updating resume on Naukri, most of the time recruiters find candidates from Naukri and schedule the interview.

Not sure about how product based MNCs which you mentioned hires but maybe mostly keep applying via there career page, ask for referral on GV and LinkedIn, keep following up with the recruiters.

To be honest, the referral rate from posting on Grapevine is very low unless you use a female username and catfish guys. Even worse on linkedin.

Big hiring drives are via campus / university programs in most of the T1 tech giants.

Thanks, but I've got 2.5 Yoe. I know for sure Salesforce and Uber went crazy hiring in September and October.
