Trending @Capgemini; Base location transfer!
I recently found a tech manager at my desired office location and reached out to ask if they could help me transfer into their account. They were open to the idea, and my current manager has also agreed to support the move once I’m selected by that BU. This would allow me to change my base location closer to where I want to be.
I am curious has anyone else gone through a similar process to change their base location? Any experiences or tips would be really helpful.
Initially, drop a mail to direct reporting manager and request for approval from both direct reporting manager, n+1 and n+1’s manager , both required approvals . See in your profile who is your people’s manager if same as direct reporting manager then well and good else you have loop in your people manager in that mail.
Profile manager can do job location change from success factor >> team member >> double click on your name >> job change >> update current base location to required base location , attach mail of approved , and click save ! This could be required and approved !
This will take some certain approvals from bu level and if all approvals attached they could approve immediately! Good luck!!
