Base location Change
My current base location is very far away from my home,need to change base location to nearby place but my project ODC is not there.Pl advise
Ask for release from current project, but prior to that check for opportunities in other projects that are based closer to your home. If possible try and confirm if you are a match before taking release. Project manager in new project will also not be able to commit to anything till you are released, but they are usually supportive if they need you. All the best.
But how to check for opportunities in nearby locations
Social networking.. ask people, ask here, find out which odc locations are closer to your home. People need to know where that is to suggest. Then find people from those locations and connect for opportunities. You can also use enterprise search to identify locations.
