You see entire ASIA & ME is in kind of turmoil. I don’t know this shit 2024 is so bad that layoffs, war, hate crime everything is growing exceptionally.
But eventually immigration will happen. And mostly, illegal. So, it's better if we can have legal migrants under CAA and stop illegal ones at the doorstep only.
There will always be people taking a situation like this to their advantage to justify violence against the groups they've been taught to hate. There will also be people who've living together harmoniously for generations. Understand that issues like these are way more complex than a simplified 5s video going around trying to incite hate. You're "of great concern" about the minorities in X country but not your own?
Yes we should. Like in 1971 when we didn't make Pak bite dust completely we allowed them to become such a big headache as it is now. Bangladesh will become the same.
If we take recent times and talk. It is tougher with Pakistan to intervene both because stronger military and nukes. Plus border is very well protected in comparison. Importantly, relatively fewer Hindus.
However, things are different with Bangladesh.
Border is porous, we will have insane refugee problems.
No nukes, manageable military.
And unlike Pakistan there is a massive population of Hindus here and they will be massacred. If we don't, nobody will help them. Besides if Bangladesh turns islamic, Pakistan will transfer nuke technology and we will have another big headache. This has to be nipped in the bud.
Yes, that’s my concern if they became rogue nation like PAK then we will need to deploy RR, Assam rifles which will ultimately need more expenditure & more taxes for us.
Most of Taxes are going towards the defence expenditure to manage on ground troops, intelligence & other.
Such a headache. And not just that. Account West Bengal turning into Kashmir as well. So it's not only expenditure. We will have so many enemies around us. Look at what happened to vijayanagar Empire surrounded by bahumanis. They were weak but we let them live and in the end they fucked Vijayanagar Empire so bad that it became in recognizable.
We have enough enemies around.
