Bangalores Age?
"So the oldest reference to the city 'Bengaluru' has been in an inscription found in Begur in Panchalingeshwara temple. The inscription installed by Nagattara refers to a battle of ‘Benguluru’ in 890 AD, in which Buttanapati, son of Nagattara, and Pervonasetti, adopted son or an attendant of Nagattara, die.
So a quick math would give us the age of 'Bengaluru' to be 1133 years.
But a place called Begur finds mention in the 517CE Malohalli copper plate inscriptions. Begur is just about 3 km from silk board junction. And hence evident that it's part of Bengaluru.Going by this logic and doing math we can say that Bengalurus age is 1506 years
However the modern Bengaluru came to life when 'HiriyaKempegowda' or KempeGowda - 1 in 1537 built the Bengaluru Fort .
So we can conclude that the age of Modern Bengaluru or 'KempeGowdas' Bengaluru is 486 years
