I just got asked for my manager's phone number, my last 6 months bank statements, and a literal character certificate from my HR.
To rent a 1BHK. A damp 1BHK with visible wall seepage.
Bhai I am trying to rent a house not adopt a child.
What is the most unhinged borderline illegal demand these owners have thrown at you guys? Because I am actually losing my mind today.
The reason is its very difficult to vacate a renter who refuses to vacate.if a renter decides not to pay rent it's impossible to collect.
Thanks to India's caste based laws. Life is not easy here.
Maybe the landlord faced a very bad experience with the last person??? Isn't it the Government job to make a favorable outcome for both the parties??? Don't we pay enough tax already for having proper law management???? I understand it's too much to ask from the landlord but the government sleeping and not caring is really bad and it's sucking the hard earned tax payers. I don't know when it will change !!!!

Ohh yeah!! You guys cry even after taking such heavy deposit? Dude no other city in the country takes that much deposit and guess what they don’t ask for these nonsensical documents from tenants
I think it is important , because there are many cases where fraudulent activities happened in past , due to which it is imp to have a bgv for staying on rent also 😅😅
There are so many fraudulent owners who don't pay advance or lease amount, don't repair facilities what to do to such owners
I think we do have agreement for that as well , i have seen people who get tenants without any proper verification and found out thy were in some dealing n all stuff, It completely depends on the situation. best is to have equal rules for tenants and owners both

Maine apne renter s bas deposit mangaa tha or ek baat boli thi ghar saaf rakhna, 3 bhk in Bavisha gardenia Sarjapur, rent bas 29k + main additional. 2 saal hone wale h aj tak baat bhi nahi Hui h kyuki wo time pr rent pay kardete h.
