Does it make sense for someone at 35LPA in project management with 18 years of experience to relocate to Bangalore for a better salary.

I understand my expenses will go up to the tune of 6-8LPA, but if the value added post tax is 12-15LPA, i guess finance wise it would make sense. Question is if it will be easy to get that kind of raise which is close to 40% on top of current salary.
