Trending @HCL; Bands and Designation in HCLTech

Hey Everyone,

I'm a new Joiner in HCLTech and trying to understand the Band and Designation in HCLTech.

I'm with 6 YOE and offered E2 Band(Sub Band as 2.2).

In previous organisations we used to have Designation like below.

PAT - Project Associate Trainee PA - Project Associate A - Associate (usually 3-6 YOE) SA - Senior Associate ( usually 6-10 and more) M - Manager (10+ YOE, depends and can go up to 15+ too) SM - Senior Manager AD - Associate Director D - Director .

In the same hierarchy, can someone tell me how band and designation work here?

In HCL employee bands are as follows

1.1 Analyst 1.2 Senior Analyst 2.1 Specialist / Associate Manager 2.2 Senior Specialist / Deputy Manager 2.3 Technical Specialist (If you are in management role, there isn’t 2.3 band, you’ll directly jump to 3.1 Manager, but in support project you’ll be 2.3 first and then 3.1) 3.1 Associate Consultant / Manager 3.2 Consultant / Senior Manager 4.1 Senior Consultant / Group Manager 4.2 Associate General Manager 5.1 Deputy General Manager 5.2 General Manager 6.1 Associate Director 6.2 Director E7 Associate VP E8 VP E9 Senior VP EX or E10 - Executive VP C1, C2, C3, C4, C5 - CFO, CEO, CTO, COO, President
