
Band distribution
I am not being jealous but this makes me feel useless sometimes.Today I realised, no matter you work hard, support/help in the back to everyone, credits toh chatu log hi le jaate hai.
Worked my a** off in the project, late night shifts, no holiday , weekend shifts , not a single issue with manager any day etc etc, still got C .And some people got A whom I personally know that do nothing except being chatu to manager.

Dear friend. Couple of question's how long have you worked in TCS ?
What tech stack are you working on ?
Are you below 27 ?
If you are a fresher with 2 years of Exp and Digital convert (Ie joined as Ninja and then changed to Digital) C band is super unfair. See this Org values smooth talking not talent.
If C band will impact your Digital incentives then don't think twice reject the band and also put in your paper before next month end if they don't agree for band change.
If you have relevant skill set you will be hired. For example MDM engineers are on great demand. Also don't let the media and people fool you with uncertain times don't leave job etc etc. Uncertainty will and is always there. If you are not good in your skill set and in your comfort zone then my friend you are always in uncertainty. Companies hire based on talent and there will always be demand for talent. So if you feel you lack demand on skill set. Upskill yourself. One good thing about our org is the upskill opportunity. Use it to the fullest and get certified. Then jump.
Staying here is cushy but growth is zero. You gotta become a kiss ass and your talent will never be valued. With the way tech is growing this is a dangerous place to be in. See our org is also taking a big hit cause of this. Why be in a ship that has probability to sink and the captains are not doing anything about it ?
Use your chabce upskill jump and excel. Until 35-40 always switch every chance you get after max 3 Years of exp. Upskill constantly only way to stay relevant is to outpace and upskill.

Not surprised, this is common in TCS. One person said you see how many careers TCS built but question is how many Careers TCS destroyed ?

Same happend with me after working soo hard i still got B band. My suggestions to you would be kaam krna band kro.. leaves lo jitni le skte ho... start preparing for switch. Maine bhi dekh liya jyada kaam krne se kch nhi milta hai.

Do we expect any increments for FY2024-25 appraisal process?

This is true in every organization. Build some relations with your manager and highlight achievements you have done to your upper management by participating in management meetings or by giving training and invite everyone on that training. Also search for options outside if you feel you are underpaid and undervalued here in TCS.
