First complete 18 months , Second get nominated by first level manager then out of those nominees get slected for hand promotion by vertical head....

You need to complete atleast 18 months in the same project after which based on your performance you are eligible for band promotion. Your manager needs to nominate you for the band promotion.

Thanks @OverlookedFirm any criteria for by default? means completing 18 months but without any nomination?
