Band and IPF query
With IPf rating 4.26 what band I can expect, manager is not supportive last time gave 4.32 and I got B this time he said band is not related to IPF but I'm worried since a C band will stop the wings allowance. Any input please?
I will be brutally honest, band and rating in TCS work independently. It depends totally on your project, team leader, manager, and HR.
The projects are given a fixed number of bands to distribute. So EoD they managers and leads decide who gets what. A good Rating does not guarantee a good band. But a bad rating pretty much ensures a bad band.
Eg: last year appraisal colleague had 4.3 and ended up with C band but sister project 3.9 colleague got B band.
But yeah anything below 3.6 is pretty much a C band.

I am worried about the same. My manager has been talking about releasing me and aligning me with another project. She was all praises "you will do great there" and bs. But I am worried she will screw up my band. Hope she doesn't
With your IPF, it'll mostly be B band.
C3B band had no hike, wings allowance is the only motivation but on C band that will also Stop. Not getting interview calls outside and this is a small location with limited projects making my situation worse.
