Band and Appraisal Eligibility for Lateral Hires – First Year

I joined in the second week of June and received a rating of 4.8, but I haven’t received any band yet. My question is: can a lateral hire receive a band in their first year? If not, am I eligible for an anniversary appraisal as a lateral employee?

For first year, you will have only rating. Increment will be based on rating as you got 4.8 it will be rounded to 5 From second year you will get bands
