BADLY NEED WFH

I have been on bench for so long. They are not allocating me to any project.
I am facing severe health issue which is a psychological disorder. I have asked for WFH. They said me to apply leaves until I come to office. It is not a temporary viral fever to apply leaves for some days. It is a mental disorder which is killing me more by living in a Bangalore PG. My issue got increased after coming to Bangalore.
I am not sure what to do.
Give me some tips
Another question: After how many days of not reporting to office, we will receive remainder mails from TCS???
Hi, there is a psychiatrist doctors will be visiting in most of the tcs offices once or twice a week. Consult them explain the situation. Discuss this with HR. Take help from TCS Care Team. Or else u can get consult from a outside doctor aswell by submitting the relevant docs to HR u can ask for leave or take the wfh

One of my friend is also suffering with health issue and he was given a exception for three months but after that they refused to approve. It would take atleast a year for him to recover and it was difficult to travel to office. He decided to resign as they were not willing to release him as well.
First of all pls consult a good specialist doctor related to your problem and explain him all the things which are leading to your mental stress and take his/her advice and ask them to provide a document that states you require wfh for x months and submit that document to HR then they will definitely provide wfh

I believe you are fresher or mid level experienced guy, if you are in project you may get exception, being on bench definitely you won't get no matter what. If you produce much documents too. You may be asked to take long leave LWP and may asked yo rejoin once you are fit.
My suggestion find a project asap, talk to the manager explain your situation and ask for exception, not fully. You May ask for flexible working way like you say you will come office for 2 weeks and 2 weeks will wfh like that and once you have good rap with client and manager, you extend.
But be clear you will not be given exception at anycost if u in bench.
Sorry to here that ..you can change your work location near by your hometown or family and frequently visit to them in weekends. I have given reason of child care and old age parents still I am not getting WFH approval hence I have raised a transfer request and fighting for that.
Bench for so long ? how many days or months? Working from home (WFH)? Let’s be realistic, they won’t let someone just chill at home. You need to report regularly and take good rest during your free time. If you can’t stay alone, how can you expect someone to happily live with you after marriage? You never mentioned anything about upskilling. I hope you can settle your mind and realize that you’re not the only one going through this. I was also in a similar situation, staying in a PG for months while in bench, and it was really boring. But during that time, I just focused on upskilling myself .
Answering your other question if you are not reporting properly they will freeze your salary .
If you don't care about varaiable pay, just maintain 60% attendance on quarter basis thats all or just go to office swipe in swipe out thats it. My frnd is doing same
