My milestone got pushed to 2026. Postponed twice in my 3 years tenure. Heartbroken and how. Just wanted to share this thinking I might feel better.
I joined in 2021 and my original milestone was set to 2024. Pushed to 25 and now to 26. Why I feel bad the most is this org is hiring senior con with 6.1 years of experience. I've 8 years of experience 3 in this org itself and I'm still consultant. Every time giving reasons like you still need to perform better where in fact I led 2 projects myself already.
Well sometimes it’s good to not take promotion. I got my promotion to manager and hike is 9%, what’s the point of taking additional responsibilities
