Trending @HCL; Bad life continues

I have been working as a technical support engineer at HCL for the past 3 years. Despite consistently putting in my best efforts and continuously upskilling, I find that I am still among the lowest-paid in my role. I am reaching out to seek advice or opportunities that align with the dedication and growth I’ve invested in my career.

@SleepyOrdination Thank you for the suggestion. I've realized that it's not entirely the company's fault. Its partly my responsibility for staying with the same organization for so long. Despite their repeated promises over the past two years to provide a significant salary increase, nothing has materialized. I've come to understand that continuing in this situation is not in my best interest, and I must seriously consider switching companies to achieve the growth I deserve..

What you mean “try to get high ATS score for the particular JD”? Could you please help me where to check this?

I know that the journey ahead may not be easy, but I am determined to push forward. I believe in my abilities and am confident that, with persistence and hard work, I will achieve the success I seek. Every challenge I face will only strengthen my resolve, and I’m certain that one day, all this effort will pay off.

I will never give up at any cost.

Good to hear that. ATS is a score of your resume for a particular job, google it ATS Score for free Upload your resume
And paste the desired JD Check the score to be on safer side generally that score should be 80+ but due to current recession I will suggest try to be close to 90+

Best of luck from my side for your job switch, I hope and wish you do well in your future.

See bad life continues because you are ok with that in your comfort zone or easy to blame company or your luck that nothing gonna change for you, maybe I am harsh but that is somehow true. I have less experience then you but I can suggest what I did to be better then others

  1. Leave your comfort zone
  2. Upskilling for yourself not for the company. Do hands on learning which stays for longer period of time, do relevant certifications and courses and that doesnt mean percipio ones.
  3. Make good resume apply for jobs in different platforms dont stick to one and try to get high ATS score for the particular JD.
  4. Make some good connections relevant to your role and avoid friends of college if they are not you childhood friends. (No explanation required) Appraoch them for new openings in the company.
  5. Be Motivated! No one's gonna come to motivate you. Things will change just trust yourself and make a positive mindset. Most Important. I hope this much is enough.
