Bad banding after project release?

After getting project release, what to do if previous manager gives bad banding like C or D due to some grudge? I had B banding continuously for 2 years and I am worried that if I get C or D, my complete year will be wasted. Is there any way where the current new project manager can revert the gradings if I can prove my work?

Typically, the final IPF is an average of all project-end ratings.
