Background Verification

Hello, I have been selected by a company and received both the offer letter and appointment letter. I joined 3 days ago, but I haven’t received the joining date from the client site yet because the background verification process is still pending. The client will decide the date once the BGV is completed. How much time will it take normally? Any Idea? I'm bit worried.
