Fellow developers and seniors, I want to become a go backend developer , i have around 2yoe and my tech stack is node js , javascript. Companies asks hands on experience in go, What should i do? P.S: I don’t want to build a todo app in golang

You don't want to build todo app that's fine but I suggest start with todo app or some other small application which will help in getting basic foundation for go then slowly add more features and create something out of it and finally whatever work you did till now in node, just mention in resume that u did all in go and explain and u get your golang job. Even I want to switch to golang, will go with same strategy.

Actually i kind of agree with the latter, i am thinking of doing that.
Break my company’s codebase and my developed modules in golang.
